Summary

All supply workers are coming into Kiddywinks under a self-employed basis - flexible working to cover sickness and holidays. Working in our South Molton and Barnstaple Nurseries.

To work alongside all policies and procedures correctly and to ensure Kiddywinks ethos and values are upheld at all times.

· To assist in making the provision and the children are the best they can be at all times.

· Promoting all areas of the foundation stage.

· Helping children reach the next steps.

· Interacting and supporting children in a positive way to foster their enthusiasm for learning.

· Planning the indoor and outdoor environment in order to provide a positive context for learning and teaching.

· Provide experiences and activities that are challenging but achievable.

· Working with others to plan and co-ordinate work.

· Meeting requirements for the observation, assessment and recording of children’s development.

· Sharing knowledge gained with other practitioners and parents.

· Organising time and material resources.

· Using creative and practical skills to prepare learning materials

· Attending in service training.

· Organising and attending outings

· General care of children to include;-

1. Changing nappies

2. Feeding

3. Cleaning

4. All other essential needs

· Keeping the nursery in a clean and tidy state.

· To ensure confidentiality at all times.

· To attend regular staff meetings.

General

The post holder will be expected to undertake any other duties which are within the range and scope of the post.

The post holder will be expected to promote the Equal Opportunities Policy at all times and to carry out their responsibilities with due regard to this and all other policies and procedures.
