Summary

About the Role
We have an exciting new opportunity to join a 'Platinum Investors in People' employer, supporting our branches in North Tyneside and beyond.

Our Rover position provides lots of opportunities to meet a wide variety of customers in our branches across the region. The nature of the role means you will be required to work across our branch network, which is why we include the car allowance of £3,420 on top of your basic salary.

Every day is different in the life of a Customer Adviser, from opening and setting up the tills ready for the working day ahead, making customer appointments, processing customer transactions at the counter, assisting in the opening of savings accounts to cashing up and closing at the end of the day! The list is endless however at the heart of everything we do is our customer.

This is a full time permanent role working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (plus Saturdays on a rota basis, usually one or two per month, paid as overtime).

About You
All of our Customer Advisers work closely together so you will have real team spirit and thrive working with others and meeting new people.

Relationships are really important to us, therefore you’ll need to be great with people; building rapport easily to understand how best to help the customer, whether that be suggesting options they may not be aware of, or creating leads for the relevant advice specialists in branch and Head Office.

You’ll have Customer Service experience that demonstrates your attention to detail and accuracy. It should go without saying that having a commitment to ensuring good outcomes for customers is a given. This role is perfect for those that like change as you will be “roving” between different branches. This will give you valuable experience and insight into a variation of customer needs and communities. You will need to be able to travel between the branches in our network at short notice dependent on business needs.

Peter - Assistant Branch Manager (previously roving adviser):

“I enjoyed the variety of the role, going to new branches and meeting new faces. Both colleagues and customers alike. I’m very much a people person and this role is perfect for someone like myself. Along with this, I enjoy change. I am not a person who really wants to be doing the same thing most days, being a Rover most weeks and sometimes even some days are completely different.”
