Summary
The post-holder will be part of a senior medical team with our substantive consultant in Microbiology The post holder will, together with consultant colleague, be responsible for the provision of high quality comprehensive, efficient and cost-effective Microbiology and infection control services to the Trust and other users of the service. The appointee will be the designated Antimicrobial Stewardship lead (whilst the consultant is the designated Infection Control Doctor (ICD), but with potential to rotate these roles).
