Summary
Are you a Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a new role in Manchester?
This is a great opportunity to join a leading Tier 1 contractor who have a proven track record of delivering quality high-rise developments, student accommodation and high-end offices with projects valued in excess of £100m.
The Role - Quantity Surveyor
As a Quantity Surveyor your role will be to work within & assisting the commercial & construction teams to ensure the project is delivered successfully, while maintaining relationships, maximising commercial returns & managing risk.
You will be working closely with the Commercial Director supporting with all commercial duties on several key projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the commercial team
- Prepare tenders - measure, put into packages, analyse
- Prepare variations/valuations
- Prepare Final Accounts
- Prepare s/c valuations
- Attend site client meetings
- Prepare client quotations/Estimates
- Liaise with Site Management
Required Experience
- Completed (Degree/HND/HNC Upwards)
- Ability to effectively utilise a range of Microsoft Office tools
- Be fully conversant with the use of the Standard Method of Measurement
