Summary

The Role

We are currently looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor based or 5 years+ experience to work on site in Manchester City Centre.

The expectations will be to look after a live project as well as assist in the tendering process and completion of final accounts on completed projects.

The Project value is £400m.
The Client operates in the Residential , High Rise , new build and refurbishment sectors nationwide.

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

- Provide commercial management on Projects and deliver tender margin-plus with effective cost and value management.
- Supply chain management and payment to ensure programme is maintained and buying opportunities are maximised.
- Assist Estimating and Operations with developing bid submissions.
- Procurement of resources to meet programme and ideally tender.
- Forecasting and cost/value reporting.
- Responsible for commercial and contractual matters on multiple projects.
- Site based role.
- Working extensively within a well-established team ensuring efficient management of workload.

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

- Estimating Experience is helpful but not essential.
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Higher level (HNC or Degree) qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Have functional/technical skills associated with the field of Quantity Surveying.
- Hold a full UK driving licence

- Salary: DOE
