Summary
Assistant Head of House (Pastoral Support) - Required September 2024Term time only, 37 hours per week + 5 inset days
Salary: £29,269 - £31,364 (Actual pro rata salary: £25,147 - £26,947)The role will include: To assist House Heads in ensuring that: The House System is effectively managed. Pupils are well behaved. Pupils develop a sense of pride, both in their particular House and as individuals. Oversee attendance for the House, promoting good attendance and ensuring registers are properly maintained. Actively follow up attendance issues. To be a principal port of call for parents/carers in relation to pupil welfare, behaviour and barriers to learning. We are looking for an individual with: Good interpersonal skills and able to work as an effective team member. Assertiveness, discretion and good communication skills. Experience of working with young people and/or an understanding of young people. The ability to work on their own and show initiative. A professional attitude and manner. Good knowledge of Google Drive, Microsoft Word and Excel (with the ability to adapt to new software packages). A First Aid at Work qualification (training can be provided).
