Summary
The successful applicant will carry their own caseload providing CBT for a range of severe mental health presentations. Eight out of ten clinical sessions will involve direct therapy with caseload. They will undertake specialist CBT assessment, formulation and intervention, collaborating with clients and multi-disciplinary colleagues. The role involves undertaking risk assessment and management. The consideration of culture, power and privilege within a patient care making adaptations to treatment as appropriate They will provide advice, guidance and consultation on Cognitive Behaviourally informed approaches to other staff. Person Specification: Specialist CBT Therapist Practitioner or First Accreditation as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with BABCP AND A qualification that leads to registration with a professional regulatory body and current registration OR a Knowledge Skills Attitude (KSA) equivalence portfolio approved as part of BABCP accreditation. Trainee CBT Therapist A core profession recognised by BABCP. AND Registered with a professional regulatory body. OR An undergraduate degree in a relevant field to mental health AND Substantial experience demonstrating a breadth of experience in two or more mental health settings to meet KSA requirements.
