About the role

The role will play a critical part of the modernisation and transformation of TWFRS and its approach to development and people management. This is an exciting time to join TWFRS as we begin a programme of Leadership and Management and also ‘Development Pathways’ for all staff. This is a real opportunity to bring dynamic and transformational change to an organisation at the heart its community. In this role you can make a real difference, working collaboratively to deliver a real people focused organisation.

Main duties:

You will work with the Head of L&D, Workforce Development Manager, L&D Quality Assurance Manager and a range of other staff on a number of different projects including Leadership and Management Development. Here the individual will develop, deliver and evaluate the organisations approach to Leadership and Management development for all staff, working collaboratively with leaders to identify priorities and appropriate delivery.

You will be responsible for the direct provision of high quality training and development activities to support learners to improve their skills and knowledge, through the provision of focussed and bespoke programmes.

You will be responsible for the planning, development and delivery of training / development programmes as part of their leadership development.

Design interventions and influence projects to drive the appropriate culture, behaviour, skills and performance and provide insight and leadership on managing transformational change.

Work in partnership with HR and senior leaders to establish TWFRS approach to talent management, identify opportunities to embed the new approach and support effective succession planning at all levels and in all functions across the business

Qualities / skills required:

A decisive thinker with a background in L&D, who demonstrates sound judgement and is passionate about TWFRS and the success of its staff. Able to deliver business focussed solutions and build personal and functional credibility with key stakeholders.

You will be a role model with previous experience of developing leadership development, who inspires trust and confidence in colleagues with a continuous improvement mindset which drives and enables change to deliver results.
