We have an exciting opportunity for you at Orwell Housing Association. We are recruiting for an efficient, proactive individual to support our Property Manager in overseeing Void Works, Day-to-Day Repairs, and Property Inspections, with a special focus on mould Inspections.

Key responsibitlies includes:

• Ensuring that all responsive improvements, repairs and void works attain high standards of workmanship.
• Keeping high levels of customer service and ensuring communication is maintained with tenants, Housing Officers, Orwell’s operatives and external contractors.
• Working with the Head of Repairs to improve delivery, reviewing and developing working practice to create efficiency gains and improved tenant satisfaction.
• Conducting mould inspections to identify the root causes of mould growth.
• Assisting with all day-to-day matters relating to Void works and repairs ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the approved budget and any variations are highlighted.

About you

Our ideal Property Inspector will have:

• At least five years of direct experience of working in a related field.
• Extensive experience of managing projects, building contracts and contractors is essential.

Person Specification:

• A Level (or equivalent) in Math’s and English language Grades A-C.
• Appropriate technical qualification and or experience is essential.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK Driving Licence is required.
