Your new opportunity
Johnstone Supported Living Initiative supports Six ladies reside in their own flats within this complex. The people we support have a wide range of disabilities from learning disability, wellbeing, autism and Prader-Willi. The service is staffed 24 hours a day with a team committed to providing a person centered approach. Empowering, enabling people to be independent their day to day life.
As a support worker you will support individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with personal care and providing encouragement for the person you are supporting to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives. This will include keeping the people we support safe and engaging in meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and well-being.
This is a full-time permanent position working 39 hours per week.
Please note we manage shifts on a rotational basis where staff work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of the people we support and will include working weekends. Sleepover shifts are paid at an hourly rate of £10.90 and can also offer extra earning potential.
