LTF Recruitment are delighted to be offering the opportunity to work at one of our partner schools as a School Cook. The school are based in South Leicester and are looking to invest in a new member of staff to join an inclusive, passionate team. The school are looking for someone to cook for staff and pupils daily, work within budgets, and working towards healthy schools.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide well balanced and nutritional food by planning and providing varied menus in line with school requirements and nutritional standards to meet diverse needs of students.
- Menu planning on a 4 week rolling menu on-line food purchasing/local food purchasing for cost effectiveness.
- Liaise with Business Manager for stock, equipment purchases.
- Clean and maintain the schools new stainless steel kitchen.
- Accommodating special dietary needs, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or religious dietary restrictions, and ensuring that alternative meal options are available when necessary.
