Summary

I am a fun, kind, and creative young woman. I have Autism, ADHD, PTSD and
suffer from occasional seizures which are non-epileptic. I also suffer from anxiety and get easily overwhelmed, so I would like a PA who is calm and understanding and I could trust to be patient and gentle with me.
I would like a PA to help me with admin tasks, like filling in forms and making phone calls. I also need help to organise my time and organise my things. I would like help with food shopping and buying big or heavy things as I don't have my own transport. I would also like to do fun things, like going to the pictures, hiking, doing crafts and playing games.
I would like a PA to help me find out about different groups and activities and help me start attending some of them so that I can make some friends. I need help in social situations as they can often make me feel anxious and overwhelmed.

Car driver required.
Female preferred.

Hours of work:

6 hours per week, possibly 2 x 3 hours
Rate of pay:
£11.50 p/hr

Tasks involved.

• Help me with admin tasks, like filling in forms and making phone calls.
• Help with food shopping and buying big or heavy things as I don't have my own transport.
• Accompany to do fun things, like going to the pictures, hiking, doing crafts and playing games.
• Help in social situations as they can often make me feel anxious and overwhelmed.

Concerning the position

You will be formally employed by the Direct Payment Client which requires a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis) . A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
