Summary
I am a young man in my 20’s who uses a wheelchair and has learning difficulties, with very limited communication. I use some “Single” words in a positive way to communicate if I want or do not want something.
I like playing with a rolling ball at home, my keyboard and I also enjoy walks in the park. I enjoy eating out especially Thai, Indian, Chinese, Italian and other cuisines. I have a very good diverse pallet. I have a large dog at home as my pet which I adore.
Tasks involved:
I require some personal care support at home, like changing a continence pad and sometimes a wipe and wash. I need help with eating by supporting me using a fork and feeding me. I do use my hands for say eating chips as an example.
I require a PA to support me early evenings and / or weekends as I attend a day centre in the daytime. I would require a Wednesday evening as my mum attends a social activity, to give her some time to herself.
Apart from this, I am flexible with any other evenings and weekends. We can agree this together.
