Summary
- Assist in the implementation of individual and group programmes under the supervision of the Day Care Officer in order to meet physical, emotional and social needs.
Act as keyworker, review, update and complete care plans risk assessments etc.
Assist with the provision of adequate equipment and activities.
Ensure equipment and the facilities are clean, well maintained and safe at all times.
Assist with appropriate activities.
Be aware of the importance of having culturally appropriate programmes of activities.
Assist clients with personal care tasks when required.
Be aware of and to promote the rights clients, including the right to confidentiality at all times.
Ensure awareness of all policies and procedures and working practices within them.
Attend training courses as required.
Awareness of health and safety, including accident reporting, risk assessments and reporting incidents.- Assist supervise and support clients on transporting to and from the day care service.
