This is an exciting time to join the Service Coordination Team within Environment, Housing, and Infrastructure to support the Waste and Recycling Service Management Team.

This role will provide high quality customer focused service delivery across the Service through a variety of channels including telephone, face to face and electronic methods. Providing solutions to complex problems maintaining performance management and customer contact within all areas of the Waste and Recycling Service.

You will oversee all requests and enquiries received by the Service including issuing responses and investigating and drafting responses to more complete enquiries.

Working closely with others you will ensure that processes and systems are effective, efficient, customer focused and continuously improving. You will support the Waste and Recycling Management Team to establish key performance indicators for the service and to manage their implementation, being an advocate for change within the service area.

Aswell as responding to enquiries, investigations, responding to enquiries and Freedom of Information (FoI) requests and undertaking investigations to resolve complex cases.

You will be able to work in a logical and consistent manner following existing detailed procedures and using the core systems e.g. Firmstep, mailtracking, Business Objects, CAMIS, Health & Safety databases, Seemis; and standard computer systems including Microsoft Office and are keen to learn new applications and technology. Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to Manage demanding customer relationships, speak to, and advise, a wide range of stakeholders is essential.

You must have experience delivering services in process driven environments, delivering, and leading a wide range of administrative tasks within performance & improvement.

Knowledge and experience of Information Governance, effective problem solving, customer service, time management, organisation and leadership/development skills are also essential.
