Summary
Carbon60 are looking for a maintenance technician with electrical bias based in Kensington and Chelsea, this is a temporary ongoing position for at least 3 months. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of working in occupied domestic buildings / homes to join a great team with potential for longer term work.
Location: Mobile around the Kensington and Chelsea Borough
Pay Rate: £22.36 per hour (£43,602) plus Van and Fuel card and Phone.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 Hours
Contract: Temporary ongoing
The Role:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on social housing units including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and painting.
- Respond promptly to maintenance request and emergencies.
- Ensure all work meets housing codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate record of work orders, supplied used and time spent.
- Assist with house refurbishments when required.
The Successful Candidate:
- 18th Edition
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualifications
- Social Housing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
- Valid driving licence
- Proficient with maintenance management software
