Summary


We are currently recruiting for dynamic and motivated experienced Band 5 Nurses to join our friendly and dedicated team of nurses within the Medical Division at Newham University Hospital. We Currently have opportunities onPlashet (Endocrine)andHeather (Cardiac/Stroke)wards and also ourAccident & Emergency Department

The Division of Medicine includes 8 inpatient units providing acute care to a range of specialities and a busy Emergency Department that sees over 500 patients a day, all providing compassionate, safe patient focused care.

The division is supported by a dedicated Band 7 Team, 3 Matrons and 3 Senior Nurses.

To provide the highest standard of individualised and holistic patient care, in conjunction with the

interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams. The post holder will work within the NMC Code, trust policies, guidance and procedures to ensure safe working practice.

You will be supported in your professional development by our dedicated team of PDN’s. There are opportunities to develop specialist skills with both on the job training and external courses. As well as your professional development we also have a newly created Well-being space, outside areas including designated garden areas as well as fitness classes including a running group.

Interviews will occur on the day and successful candidates will receive a verbal offer of employment on the day.

We are offering a £1000 bonus to all successful candidates interviewed at the Recruitment Day

The payment will be made in 2 instalments which will be subject to normal statutory deductions for tax and National Insurance
