Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a cashier with general administration duties at Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital.

The post holder will have both cashier and general administration responsibilities, and also providing front of house guidance to patients, staff and visitors.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Perform cashier duties

Co-ordinate information and provide a full range of administrative support to Community Site Manager

Provide front of house service for all persons visiting the community site

Providing cover when required to Samuel Johnson Hospital



Responsible for the security off all Cash and Cheques within trust guidelines.

Responsible for the collection, counting and receipting of income to include donations, cash registers, change, vending, car park and prescription machines and any other cash generated sundries, maintaining the float levels where appropriate by moving money around as required. Collates and compiles financial statistic information as required. Prepares to a deadline on a bi-weekly basis the correct monies to be banked ensuring that is ready for collection and proof of identity is obtained from Collector before handing money over.

Prepare and process supplies requisitions and raise purchase orders as directed .Ensure that invoices received for payment and sent for payment to the correct department in a timely manner.

Deal with general enquiries/queries from members of the public or staff Organise and oversite for room bookings at the Community Hospitals. Organising Training Events and recording candidate’s attendance.

Responsible for the ordering of general supplies and stationery, ordering materials, processing requisitions, and distributing. To action and a maintain the hospital access - swipe card system.

To word process appropriate documents, memos, letters/reports and PowerPoint presentations, which may include confidential and sensitive information.
