Part of a global Group which has operations located around the world, the Group is focused on achieving excellence in the design, manufacture and supply of fluid conveyance solutions, components and associated equipment for high-pressure hydraulics, refrigeration, and mining applications. Fluiconnecto is currently in the process of expanding our fleet of Mobile Hose Engineers that can service our customers directly, giving the highest quality of service and product that can only be found at Fluiconnecto.
A day in the life of a Fluiconnecto Mobile Engineer:
While each day brings its own unique challenges, your mornings typically begin by ensuring that Fluiconnecto vehicle safety checks are completed, preparing for the day ahead. Depending on the schedule, you may head directly to a customer site or return to the depot if no prior appointments are scheduled. Your readiness to address customer needs promptly allows us to minimize downtime and swiftly fulfill breakdown requests. Customers can utilize our IFM tool to monitor job progress, ensuring they stay informed throughout the process. Upon arrival at the site, you'll leverage your extensive industry expertise to deliver optimal solutions while upholding our service standards. Engaging with existing Fluiconnecto clientele and exploring potential new opportunities will be a regular part of your role.
You will also:
Ensure all service reports are completed and all information is captured.
Identify any potential up sell or sales opportunities.
Maintain and stock your company van, ensuring that your vehicle is always well stocked and ensure the van is kept in a clean presentable manner.
Liaise with the Service controller ensuring they are aware of your activities and estimated time required to complete work.
You will be expected to be part of an on-call rota (usually one week in four), which will require work onsite at nights and weekends if needed. This will be rewarded by additional bonus opportunity per call out.
Basic working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8am – 5pm.
