Summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust has a well-established Gastroenterology service offering a full range of specialist care to a large population.
This post is an exciting opportunity to take on a brand new role within the trust.

Working alongside Gastroenterology Consultants, we are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic nurses who are committed to delivering first-class person centred care. The role will be centred around Gastroenterology Care Co-ordination, and improving the flow of Gastroenterology patients within the Trust.

Following an induction period, and with support of colleagues, successful candidates will carry out rapid review of ‘Gastro TAG’ patients in Trust assessment areas, and agree appropriate care pathways for patients in conjunction with the Gastroenterology on call Consultant. You will also follow up patients who are in Surgery outlier beds and ensure continuity of care, and be an accessible point of contact for the ward teams for support.

If you are a Registered Nurse and have extensive experience in the field of Gastroenterology then we really want to hear from you. Successful Candidates will be expected to work a full range of shift patterns, including nights and weekends.
