9968 – 37.50 hour Warehouse Operative- FLT Driver– Fixed-Term Contract

We are looking to recruit a 37.50 Hour Warehouse Operative- FLT Driver on a 6 month fixed-term contract at our Head Office is based in Lostock, Bolton BL6 4SA.

The required working hours are:



Monday 06:00-14:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)

Tuesday 06:00-14:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)

Wednesday 06:00-14:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)

Thursday 06:00-14:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)

Friday 06:00-14:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)

Brief Role Description

Working within a highly regulated warehouse, ensuring daily compliance to authorised governing bodies within the pharmaceutical sector. This role requires a motivated individual who is performance and quality orientated, enjoys engaging with all team members from all background to build strong working relationships and can effectively adhere to department guidelines around safety, hygiene, and good distribution practices. .

Key Responsibilities:



Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance at all times, including Health & Safety, Medicines & Health Regulatory Agency (MHRA) guidelines
Ensuring required quality standards are met.
Achieving daily KPI’s and desired targets
You will need to have the ability to work as part of a large team and communicate with team members effectively.
Replenishment of medicinal products from upper level racking required for customer orders in both the WMS and KNAPP environments using scanners to ensure availability.
Collection and put away of Goods In deliveries using scanners.
Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
Ensuring FEFO practices take place at the time of replenishment/goods in put away.
Ensuring all SOPs are adhered to at all times.
Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedure
Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstruction.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualification Required:



Essential –



Reach truck licence.
Counterbalance licence.
VNA truck licence
Good numeracy and literacy ability
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work without constant supervision.
Ability to work under pressure to achieve department targets.
Experience of order picking
Able to carry out manual lifting tasks as orders can be for full outers.
Conscientious, reliable, with good attendance and timekeeping standards.
Flexible to work past contracted hours to suit business needs.
High standard of personal hygiene
Desirable –



Experience working in pharmaceutical warehouse environment.
GDP & MHRA knowledge
Previous experience of warehouse management systems and handheld scanning equipment
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
Additional Duties

Stock Counting
Date Checking
Manual Picking of upper level wholesale orders
Packing & Repacking (where required) of orders in a way which protects the integrity and quality of products we are distributing to our customers.
Objectives

Fulfilment and accuracy of replenishment and goods in delivery put away
Ensure GDP guidelines are adhered to at all times
Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy industrial environments
Manage time and attendance within area of responsibility
Maintain good housekeeping standards
Ensure security of the site when leaving premises
Daily dialogue / handover with team members
Liaise and assist security where necessary
