Our client has asked us to find a new key member of their team, as they are experiencing a period of significant growth.
The company is predominantly engaged in supporting Government customers and allied industries by researching and developing disruptive security technologies that have truly game changing attributes.

Candidates must have an active Security Clearance (SC) and have sole British Nationality.
Those who come from an electrical/mechanical or engineering background could all be considered.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate fulfilling several requirements within a brand new, small but modern, manufacturing facility creating high quality electronic products.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the candidate will carry out a range of tasks, dependent on capability, including product assembly, logistics and testing of high-quality
electronic products on a typical day-to-day basis.

The manufacturing process must be carried out with a high level of integrity and the candidate shall be required to ensure, that at no point, the integrity of the build is compromised.
Therefore honesty, consistency and integrity will be key attributes as well as attention to detail and organisation.
This role requires a good knowledge of electronic manufacturing systems and production processes. The candidate will be able to maintain test solutions and work with the development team to fault find and propose enhancements to production items, test fixtures or processes.

Travel within the UK, including between company sites, may be required. Operations will include production builds, new product introductions and prototype builds.
Depending upon the candidate, there are also opportunities to assist in enhancing existing processes and developing the production processes for new products.

Required Technical Skills and Experience
•HND/HNC in Electronic Engineering or equivalent. Experience in lieu will be considered.
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an electronic product manufacturing environment.

Desired Technical Skills
•Applicable IPC training.
•Through hole soldering and surface mount rework experience.

Conditions
•The nature of this role requires the candidate to be a British Citizen as well as obtain and retaining an unconditional DV security clearance
