Summary

**Overtime x1.5 in week and Saturdays x2 Sunday**

**The client**
Our client makes close tolerance, low quantity tooling for the Aerospace, Nuclear & Defence sectors, predominantly anything to help build/strip an Aeroplane or Boat. Materials machined include Standard Steels, Stainless Steel & Aluminium.
They have circa 30 machines on site with a range of Lathes, Mills, Spark & Wire Eroders, all Running off Siemens, Fanuc, Prototrak & Heidenhein.
With massive investment being made into the business over the coming years, they are looking to add a number of skilled machinists as they aim to double capacity.

**Job Purpose**
Support the production management with delivery & quality of the manufacture process. Monitoring the production processes to allow them to run smoothly to achieve on time delivery in a cost-effective manor at an acceptable quality.
Ensuring the manufacture process is conducted in a safe manor.
Clearly communicate accurate delivery information to ensure the correct detail is reported to the customer.

**Key Accountabilities**
* Offer support to Manufacturing Engineers to ensure best practise and method of manufacture is achieved.
* Clearly communicating delivery changes
* Working alongside Production Managers & Manufacturing Engineers of all teams to ensure the business operates fluidly.
* Support any other role with queries they may have about on-going job.
* Ensuring manufacture is to process & traceability is maintained throughout.
* Resolve technical problems & communicate them clearly.
* Control & monitor good health and safety practise.
* Adhere to company handbook & contract of employment.
* Support of any task to aid production or operation of the business.
**IMS**
* Giving guidance on best method of manufacture
* Supporting employees to achieve customer deadlines.
* Ensuring all team members are following the correct process and updating the system
* Reporting non-conformances
**Continuous Improvement **
* Lead Continuous improvements through production by raising to Seniors and making change happen.
* Work with other / mentor to get the best results from Suggestions.
* Monitor Progress of improvements being made and look to improve further.
* Support training and upskilling of the workforce at every opportunity.
