Summary


The role is to support the delivery of the annual Specialised Commissioning work plan , ensuring performance to key milestones and agreed key performance indicators are achieved.

It is essential that candidates have knowledge and previous experience of Procurement. Previously worked in an NHS environment would be an advantage.

Although this post is being advertised as a B5, the role could be considered as a development role on a lower grade

Main duties involve supporting the delivery of healthcare and other procurements within a portfolio of projects that deliver high value, improved outcomes and efficiency savings for our customers. Use procurement e-systems to create statistical reports and provide admin support at market engagement events and bid evaluation/moderation. Provide support for product/service specifications to ensure procurement and supply chain deliver optimum service delivery, incorporating best risk management philosophies.
