Role Purpose

This job is to serve the Public and staff who enter the Headquarters with coffee, sandwiches, soup, toasties, baked potatoes and scones etc.

A good knowledge of Allergens, health and safety legislation, money handling is necessary.

Essential

Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate / RIPHH Certificate or must be willing to achieve within 6 months.

Knowledge on allergens, temperatures, these are essential when working in a kitchen and will be asked at interview, Scotland food standards website is a good place to find out about these.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
