Newark Care Home is set in the suburbs of Port Glasgow and is easily reached from the surrounding areas of Greenock, Bishopton, Erskine, Paisley and the Western suburbs of Glasgow. The home is custom designed and built to meet the needs of older people, with large comfortable lounge areas to relax in and comfortably socialise with others. All surroundings are of a high quality and there are outdoor areas and gardens to take in fresh air and enjoy the seasons.

Duties will include but not limited to:
Ensure the highest levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting our residents, when required, for their personal care with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing, as well as all other aspects of their daily living.
Liaise with trained nurses and home manager
Motivate, guide and support others to develop
Keep accurate records that are up to date and reflect the current needs of the residents
Safely administering and recording of medication.
Supervise and co-ordinate staff to ensure optimum individual and team performance as well as carry out 1:1 supervision meetings.
Communicate regularly with families to ensure residents needs are met.
