As a Store Systems Product Manager your work will have a direct impact on every aspect of our customers' shopping experience, from the products on the shelves to the speed of transactions at the cash registers. A typical day in this role includes:
Looking for a role that offers exciting challenges and opportunities for professional growth? As a member of our team, your typical day will be packed with a diverse range of activities, including:

  • Helping with the technical development and management of our NCR R10 Transactional Platform in our AS Watson business-units, which needs to rolled-out in the next 3-5 years across multiple countries and business-units
  • Managing and coordinating multiple interfaces using Microservices and Kafka, ensuring seamless communication between different parts of the R10 platform and the internal AS Watson systems
  • Turning change requests into detailed technical specifications to ensuring the timely delivery of new features and improvements
  • Guiding and supporting our functional managers in the implementation of NCR R10 Transactional Platform, helping them to optimize operations and drive business growth.
  • Collaborating closely with our Group IT Asia Store Technology team and our Global IT development team in China, sharing best practices and driving innovation.
  • Configuring and testing system adjustments independently.
  • Creating clear and concise knowledge transfer documents for local IT teams using Confluence, facilitating smooth communication and knowledge sharing across the organization.

What you’ll need:

  • You hold an Bachelor degree in IT or a related field
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience in application development or management in a fast-paced and dynamic (retail) organization
  • Our IT environment is complex, which is why you need to have excellent analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset
    You're fluent in both Dutch and English.
