We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Health Visitor who is ready to further develop leadership and teaching skills by becoming a Practice Assessor. You can help us to shape and develop our service for the future, a forward thinking Health Visiting Service in Manchester.
Can you provide professional leadership to team colleagues, supporting and developing practice? Support and educate students and provide a training packages to ensure the workforce is informed of evidence-based practice updates?

Our health visiting teams work to design and deliver services in partnership with local people. We also provide key services that work across wider localities and the city-wide footprint. As a Practice Assessor you will provide clinical, educational and professional guidance to Specialist Community Public Health Nurses ( Health Visiting) during their training. Through working with staff directly you will link theory to practice within the community setting enhancing evidence-based practice..
You will be expected to act as a knowledge resource for members of the service working closely with the team lead to support developments within health visiting.
Visiting various families, including some of the most vulnerable, you’ll offer positive influence to the early years of their child’s development and family health.
