Summary

We have a fantastic career opportunity available for a Restaurant and Bar Supervisor to join the team within a local hotel and restaurant.

The position will suit someone who is passionate about the hotel and restaurant industry and who loves providing exceptional guest experiences.

You will be joining a family-owned business who truly value and support their staff, has a great reputation and is committed to long term careers.

Your job will be to supervise the team and ensure that the customers are wowed by the service in both the restaurant and at the bar. The business is expanding too, and, for the right person, there could well be a promotion in the not to distant future to Manager.

The hotel is an easy commute from Cockermouth, Whitehaven and Workington but, due to location and lack of public transport, you will need to have your own transport.

If relocating to the area, live-in is available temporarily while you find your own place.

Your new job:

Supervise and motivate a small team of food and beverage staff.
Serve customers in both the bar and restaurant.
Lunch and dinner service.
Assist with arranging functions and special events.
25 to 45 covers in the restaurant.
Preparation for service.

About you:

Passionate about customer service.
Bar and restaurant experience.
Calm, friendly and polite.
Knowledge of allergies and special diets.
A real “people” person.
Ability to motivate and train staff.
Own transport.

Salary and benefits:

£16.00 per hour (35 hours per week).
Permanent staff position.
28 days holiday per year
Share of tips.
Career prospects to Manager level.
