The Vacancy

Have you got Tenancy Support experience and willing to visit clients in their own homes across Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and occasionally Nottinghamshire?

If so, we have just the opportunity for you as we are looking for a Tenancy Support Worker!

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential as there will be a requirement to travel. You will be reimbursed for your business mileage costs for which you will need business cover on your car insurance.

We currently have 1 role available.

1 Part Time role (14hrs) covering Leicestershire/Northamptonshire/occasional Nottinghamshire
About the role

The Community Support Team is a tenancy support service for NCHA customers. The team provide support for individuals to maintain their tenancy, gain skills, live independently. A support worker helps the individual to identify any difficulties and then plans the support they need to meet their goals.

You will:

Devise and implement support plans/risk assessment
Act as an advocate for the service user liaising with external agencies.
Maintain service user records
Support service users to maximise income/money management
Support service users to access education, work or training.
Support with other such housing related support.
The role requires you to travel & visit service users either in their home, virtual support and/or at a hub as well as access to work at a central hub.

No two days will be the same!

It’s a fast paced but rewarding service as the support you will provide will help our customers sustain their tenancies and manage their finances effectively. You'll also need to advocate for our tenants when necessary by bringing in other support, care and health providers

What do you need to have?

Be Kind, considerate, caring, compassionate and empathetic to working with vulnerable adults, non-judgemental
knowledge & experience of housing related support
Work with minimal supervision and ability to lone work
good organisation skills
Working hours - Monday to Friday 9-5 however flexibility is required to meet customers’ needs and may include occasional evenings & bank holidays.

Interview date: Interviews will be held on 11th March 2024 at our office in Loughborough.
