Summary

We employ a Church Administrator, for 21 hours per week, at £13.05 per hour, plus pension and training.
The purpose of the post is to facilitate and improve the smooth running of St Jude's Church. The post would be line-managed by the Church treasurer and Staffing Group and based at the Church Office, 405 Woodborough Road, NG3 5HE.

It would be a permanent position, with a 3-month probationary period.
The successful applicant might sometimes be expected to work on Sunday mornings by attending St Jude's.

Responsibilities
1. Communication Hub – to serve as the communication hub for the church, enabling information to get to the right people at the right time, including production of any notice sheets, liaison with mission partners and to serve as the Church Data Protection Officer. Overseeing the management and use of ChurchSuite software.
2. Church Receptionist – to manage the church office, deal sympathetically and appropriately with emails, telephone and personal requests/enquiries, handle petty cash.
3. Hall Manager – to manage the church hall complex, including liaison with church wardens, cleaners and contractors, handling queries and hall bookings, managing keys for the facility, invoicing hall users.
4. Church Administrator – to provide administrative assistance to the other church staff, including but not limited to: photocopying, helping to produce orders of service, completing official registers and forms, orders for stationery, cleaning products, church supplies, etc. Also serving as the PCC Electoral Roll Officer.
5. Other – organising events, improving communication systems, and other relevant duties.
