Summary
Candidates must hold GMC registration and be licensed to practice. Main duties of the job Working on the CARIS outputs, including the annual report that accompanies the official statistics release Planning and organising Annual meeting(s) Supporting the Consultant in Public Health Medicine, CARIS manager and other team members as appropriate Attending regular team meetings, and ad hoc meetings as required Provide academic support to the team and our academic colleagues Provide clinical knowledge and help with coding of difficult cases Please see the full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents. Person specification Registration with the GMC Appointed as a substantive Medical Consultant (via AAC) in the NHS in Wales in a clinical specialty relevant to the surveillance work of the CARIS team Good understanding of policies and regulations relating to clinical governance and data governance Ability to identify, develop and evidence effective working relationships with key stakeholders, and to influence people and policy Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with different stakeholders Ability to work effectively across teams and diverse professional backgrounds IT skills in particular, experience of using word processing and spreadsheet software Previous experience of academic work, such as conference presentations and/or published papers You will be able to find a full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents or please click Apply now to view in Trac.
