Summary

You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of the website and web projects from initiation to completion. defining project objectives, creating schedules, managing resources, and communicating progress and potential risks to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial, organizational, leadership, and communication skills , with experience and an excellent understanding of digital technologies and project management methodologies. MAIN DUTIES

Website Development and Maintenance: Designing, developing, and maintaining the company website to ensure it remains functional, up-to-date, and visually appealing.
Mobile Responsiveness: Ensuring the website is responsive and compatible with various devices and screen sizes, including desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
Website Analytics: Monitoring website traffic and performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track key metrics, analyse user behaviour, and identify areas for improvement.
Content Management: Managing the website's content, including creating, editing, and updating text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements to ensure accuracy and relevance.
SEO Optimization: Implementing search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve the website's visibility and ranking on search engine results pages (SERPs)
User Experience (UX) Optimization: Ensuring a positive user experience by optimizing website navigation, layout, and functionality to enhance usability and accessibility.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, leveraging insights from project experiences to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, in collaboration with stakeholders.
Resource Management: Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to assign tasks, manage workloads, and ensure the availability of necessary resources throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, design, and content creation teams, to align website strategies with overall business objectives.
Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication among team members, agencies and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, progress, and expectations.
Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Resolving technical issues, bugs, and errors on the website, and providing technical support to users as needed.
Website Security: Liaising with IT to implement security measures to protect the website from cyber threats, such as malware, hacking, and data breaches.
Compliance and Standards: Ensuring the website complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and web accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG).
Budget Management: Developing and managing the web department budget, including allocating resources effectively and optimizing costs where possible.
Continuous Improvement: Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and digital marketing to continuously improve the website's performance and effectiveness.
Attending meetings that may be necessary in the performance of your duties.
Complying with and uphold company policies and procedures.
Undertaking any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES

Ideally a bachelors degree in computer science, web development, or a related field.
Relevant experience in web development, digital marketing, and project management.
Strong technical skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems.
Good time management and ability to manage own workload.
Must be professional and demonstrate good business etiquette and respect towards people, property and the company.
Be supportive, adaptable, passionate and driven with good innovative and positive attitude.
