Summary
We are looking for an Office Junior to join our Shopfitting business, the role will be varied and challenging for the right candidate. We are a family run business based in Oldham, servicing Nationwide.
This is a full-time permanent position and would suit school leavers or somebody who is starting out in their career with the opportunity to progress and gain experience within the business.
Requirements:
• Good communication skills
• IT Literate
• Flexible, adaptable & positive - 'can do' attitude
Responsibilities as an Office junior:
• Empty dishwashers each morning & check milk & kitchen supplies
• Check & tidy meeting rooms regularly
• Check/replenish paper supplies for printers on all floors & deal with any printer issues
• Raising purchase orders
• Liaise with suppliers on delivery dates and any lead time issues
• Collate cost comparisons form suppliers and contractors
• Printing and creating project packs for the project managers
• General hospitality to include greeting visitors, showing to meeting rooms, offering drinks etc
• Take daily calls from shopfitters on site issuing PO’s for local merchants
• Familiarise themselves with stock materials and stock control
• Booking accommodation for the employees working away
• Ordering uniform and tools
• Arranging repairs of tools
• Collating weekly jobs to allow for weekly schedules to be created
• Answering the phones, transferring calls, greeting front of house
• Manage and order stationary
• Any other reasonable administrative support work
