Summary
Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Service Manager who will have responsibility for the coordination and delivery of pre and post bereavement therapies, for people affected by the challenge of a life-limiting illness and those needing support in their bereavement journey.
The successful applicant will join the Charity’s Senior Management Team and will have strong and effective management skills to lead the service and the people within it. We are looking for individuals who have:
• Clear vision of enabling a successful service and identifying opportunities for continuous development
• Proven track record in service delivery and monitoring
• Strong, supportive and effective management of people
• Proficient report-writing skills
• Strong appreciation and understanding in networking within and across local NHS, Social Care and other charitable services
• Exemplary organisational skills
• Outcome and solution-focused approach
• Appreciation of and ability to work as part of a team
• Minimum Level 4 accredited qualification (or working towards) in Counselling, however there is no requirement to manage a client caseload
