This is a unique opportunity to work on a programme that will see the business transition over the next few years to a new system that our whole organisation will use, transforming how we work. Our Synergy Team will be at the heart of leading this.
In this role you will:
• you’ll play a vital role in leading and shaping this transition and transformation for our business.
• work with process/subject matter experts from across the organisation to ensure the ongoing design and specification of the systems work for the EA.
• support the Head of the EA Synergy Programme to oversee and mitigate risks to the EA.
• provide assurance to the Synergy Senior Responsible Officer, EA Board, and Executive Directors
• work in partnership with Defra Synergy team to ensure key milestones are planned for and actions plans are in place.

The EA Synergy team is a new team we are forming to help deliver a significant programme over a number of years, so it’s an exciting time to join us. We are part of the EA’s Corporate Management, Assurance, and Security Team who manage the relationship with corporate services, oversee the corporate approach to good governance and decision-making groups as well as our organisational resilience, business continuity management and security.

Your experience and drive will demonstrate:

• strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external partners.
• being able to bring together virtual teams to work collaboratively and achieve tangible outcomes.

• good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• excellent planning skills, delivering to tight timescales and budgets.
• experience of inspiring culture change, stakeholder management, leading communications and engagement, and implementing business change solutions is beneficial.
