Summary
Title: Machine Operative / Warehouse Operative The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative, on behalf of our Client in the Crewe area, that specialise in printing and packaging.
Daily duties: Cutting the packaging to the correct size Feeding product into an industrial printing machine Moving stock around the warehouse using a pump truck Working towards company specific daily KPI's Shift Pattern:
All work is completed between Sunday-Friday, meaning you will also be guaranteed a Saturday off. Week 1: 3 on, 4 off (Days) Week 2: 3 on, 4 off (Nights) Week 3: 3 on, 7 off (Days) Week 4: 3 on, 2 off (Nights) This equates to 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours) paid at £12.55 per hour. This includes 2 x 30 minute daily paid breaks.
Overtime is paid at £18.83 per hour after you have completed the qualifying 36 basic hours per week.
Sunday overtime is paid at £25.10 per hour after you have completed the qualifying 36 basic hours per week, and your overtime shift is on a Sunday.
This is an on-going position, with permanent opportunities available after working the qualifying period of 13 weeks.
