Summary
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Bobst Die Cutting Operator for a busy client of ours based in Ramsgate.
Pay-£11.44ph.
Monday to Friday.
Own transport is essential due to rural location.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Manage smooth running of die-cutting department: Oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate workflow, and ensure production targets are met. Maintenance of machinery: Implement preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance. Develop increased methods of efficiencies: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement measures to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Set KPIs for each machine and ensure they are achieved: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for machine performance, monitor progress, and take corrective actions as necessary to achieve targets. Quality checks to be continuously carried out: Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards. Key Skills: Technical knowledge of Bobst Die-cutting machines: An understanding of Bobst die-cutting machines and their operation. Ability to set up and run Bobst die-cutters: Proficient in machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Ability to work under pressure: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Benefits & Requirements:
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Ongoing Assignment
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
