Thank you for expressing an interest in the STEM Technician post at Ysgol Bro Taf; the new 3 – 16 English-medium school based in Pontypridd. The school will open in September 2024 with an £18.5 million investment in the creation of 21st Century learning facilities that reflect our commitment to excellence.
The STEM Technician will work under the direction of the Head of Science and play a vital role in the provision of high-quality science teaching in the school. They will maintain equipment, construct and modifying apparatus, setup experiments, take an active part in laboratory demonstrations, order resources, support in practical classes by giving technical help to pupils and ensure that the school continues to meet current health and safety standards.
