Summary
Following a period of suitable departmental training, the post holder will rotate through haematology, coagulation and blood transfusion in line with service needs. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining and operating complex laboratory equipment, review and interpretation of patient results, and must be able to liaise effectively with clinical and administrative colleagues . The post holder will also support the departments quality management system by performing IQC, EQA, audit and incident reposting procedures. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in developing newly qualified staff and will be able to deputise for the departmental training leads in their absence.
