Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Neurosciences Team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

We are seeking to appoint an RTT Administrator who would like to join our well-established team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our ever-growing team. We are seeking an individual with the below skills to help drive the Trust forward in delivering quality Administration processes and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent level of verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work on your own initiative
• The ability to investigate and identify issues in our PAS system, in line with the current Patient Access Policy
• Daily validation of patient pathways identified on Trust reports by using the hospital systems and patient notes in line with the Patient Access Policy and RTT rules
• Work as part of a team to improve the overall data quality of the Trust
• It would be advantageous to have a basic knowledge of National 18 week referral to treatment policies, targets and clock rules.
• The ability to impart a department wide improved knowledge and understanding of 18 weeks referral to treatment policies.

You will need to be proficient in the use of standard Microsoft Office packages. In addition to this, experience in the use of patient administration systems (PAS) would be advantageous.

The post holder will be joining our Neurosciences team as a key team member working with the team to meet referral to treatment targets.

Job Summary
1. RTT Validator responsible for supporting the delivery of the Referral to Treatment target in accordance with national and local standards, policies and procedures.
2. Daily validation of patient pathways in relation to the admitted and non admitted patient's performance, interpreting the RTT patient tracking reports.
3. Excellent communication skills, ability to work on own initiative with attention to detail is a key requirement for this position.
