Summary

Job Title: Manual Lathe & Milling Machinist

Location: Malvern

Hours: MON THURS 8.00AM 4.30PM

FRI 8.00 2PM

Pay Rate: £13.50 - £15 p/hour depending on experience.



We are currently recruiting for a Manual Lathe Machinist for our client in Malvern. They are highly regarded within the pump manufacturing industry. Manufacturing to customer requirements, creating and supplying quality hygienic pump applications to the brewing, soft drinks, dairy, food and pharmaceutical industries and much more.

**Whats the job?**

****


* You will be a part of the workshop team carrying out work on manual lathe & milling to create parts for hygienic pumps.
* A chance to join a re-emerging British manufacturer of high quality pumps for the pharmaceutical, food & beverage industry
* Fitting / assembly, maintenance
* General machining (Centre lathe, milling, drilling, sawing)
* To learn to adjust machine control, including part process
* To assist with and learn to post-edit CNC programs to fine tune process for optimum performance and as agreed, inspects tools for sharpness and usability, deburr and report concerns to line manager
* Maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated with your work
* Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures

**Who can do this**


* Good milling & lathe skills.
* Engineering experience.
* Good knowledge of the machinery, tools, equipment, and materials common to the role
* Good team working skills.
* Demonstrate an understanding of the important of health and safety within the workplace.
* Be friendly and approachable.
* Good attention to detail
