Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join our team. As an Adult Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to adults who require assistance with various aspects of their lives. This includes but is not limited to individuals with disabilities, mental health issues, and substance abuse problems. Your role as an Adult Social Worker will involve assessing clients' needs, creating individualized care plans, coordinating resources, and advocating for their rights and welfare.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments to determine clients' needs and develop appropriate care plans
Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families to address complex psychological and social issues
Coordinate and collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure holistic care for clients
Facilitate and lead support groups to promote emotional well-being and enhance social skills
Monitor clients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of care plans, and make necessary adjustments as required
Advocate for clients' rights and ensure they have access to necessary resources and services
Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including case notes, reports, and correspondence
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field
Valid state licensure as a Social Worker
2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with adults
Strong knowledge of local social services and community resources
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and individuals with complex needs
Strong assessment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in relevant computer software and applications
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:15
Pay Per Hour: £25.63
