Hays is working with an excellent primary school in the heart of North London, looking for an outstanding key stage 2 teacher. The school radiates an atmosphere of joy and vitality, offering its pupils exceptional opportunities for learning and development.
Your role will involve delivering stimulating, demanding lessons that promote achievement and inspire a lasting love for learning. The curriculum is well-organised, rich in substance, and forward-thinking, empowering students to attain their utmost abilities. You will become part of a constructive and triumphant team that values professional advancement.
Your roleYour role will include but is not limited to:

  • Cultivate an invigorating, demanding, well-structured, and motivational learning space.
  • Establish transparent, quantifiable goals to advance children's educational journey.
  • Maintain effective records of student progression, incorporating both formative and summative evaluations.
  • Communicate with parents about their child's growth, achievements, and advancement.
  • Handle conduct through positive encouragement and exemplifying appropriate behaviour.
  • Engage in meetings as necessitated.
  • Guide, manage, and interact efficiently with classroom support personnel.


Requirements

  • Must possess QTS
  • Knowledge in applying a range of teaching strategies to meet the differing needs of children.
  • A valid in-date Enhanced DBS (preferably on the Update Service)
  • Clear and robust behaviour management skills.
