Exciting Opportunity, MSB is recruiting.
Growing Local Cornwall property maintenance business seeks multi-skilled building/maintenance operative to work on commercial properties including Housing Associations.
Duties will include Various trades, Carpentry, Plastering, Rendering, Decorating
We have a truly exciting opportunity for you to join our team in Cornwall and become a part of the expansion of our multi-skilled service.
You will provide a repairs and maintenance service to our clients properties and will be expected to carry out a range of specified building maintenance works both as an individual craft professional and as a member of a multi-skilled team. You will undertake a wide range of property maintenance issues including painting and decorating, plastering, general carpentry and building repairs.
Our benefits include:
*Long term contracts in place
*Wages negotiable depending on experience and skill sets
* 40 hours per week
* Permanent position. Hours 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
* 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
* Pension
* Use of company van
* Uniform and phone supplied
The ideal candidates will demonstrate:
Proven experience of undertaking repairs and maintenance on domestic and commercial properties.
You must be able to Work on own initiative and as part of a team, good communication skills and IT skills
Knowledge of all carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating and general building repairs relating to specific role profiles.
Must have good time keeping and be well presented as you will be dealing with the general public on a daily basis.
You will be required to carry repairs for housing associations and commercial landlords
Health and Safety training advantageous.
Previous social housing experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication skills.
