The role

We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic Depot Manager to lead our accommodation team to achieve targets, exceed expectations, and ensure complete adherence to health, safety and legislative requirements.

As Depot Manager your ideas and solutions will be instrumental in shaping the depot plan and overall strategy. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering our strategic plan, working with various stakeholders to align all depot activities with our short and long-term vision.

Key responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal teams to align activities with our overarching strategic vision.
Develop and execute SMART objectives and KPIs, ensuring we meet both short and long-term goals.
Manage the Depot's Profit and Loss, optimising efficiency and driving profitability.
Ensure seamless operational processes and maintain accurate record-keeping.
Oversee equipment maintenance and utilisation to maximise performance.
Cultivate strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service and support.
Collaborate closely with sales and accounts teams to enhance customer experience.
Utilise CRM systems to drive lead generation and pipeline management.
About You

As part of our successful depot team, the successful applicant will demonstrate:

Experience in overseeing day-to-day operations of a depot, ideally within accommodation and welfare units or similar. This includes managing profit and loss statements, optimising resource utilisation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing efficient processes.
A strong background in leadership, with experience managing teams to guide them towards achieving goals. This includes skills in team building, coaching, performance management and fostering a positive work culture.
Experience in financial management – financial planning, budgeting and cost control.
Experience in customer relationship management and account management, to build long-term relationships.
Development and implementation of strategic plans to achieve organisational objectives including goal setting and performance measurements.
Problem solving abilities in challenges ranging from operational issues to customer concerns and conflict resolution.
