Summary


An opportunity has arisen to join the Central Patient Safety Team as an Administrator. The post holder will assist the Central Investigators, Family Liaison Officer and Team manager with day to day team administrative functions. The post holder will have contact with our operational directorates and external agencies.
• Administration
• Scheduling and minuting meetings, including external stakeholders and committees
• Responding to requests for data regarding incidents
• Working closely with directorate colleagues and external stakeholders
• Supporting the team manager, central investigators and family liaison officer





South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust provide the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK as well as substance misuse services for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. We work closely with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King's College London and are part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre. The Trust employ around 5000 staff and serve a local population of 1.1 million people. We have more than 230 services including inpatient wards, outpatient and community services. Currently, provide inpatient care for approximately 5,300 people each year and treat more than 45,000 patients in the community in Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; as well as substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich.

• Providing administrative support to the team and department
• Managing and maintaining accurate records and databases
• Handling telephone calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner
• Scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments
• Assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations
• Processing invoices and expenses
• Ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment
• Collaborating with other departments and external stakeholders as required
• Following relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
