Summary
1. To set up, maintain and continually improve systems that underpin an effective Quality Governance system at all levels across the Trust.2. To provide professional leadership for all aspects of Quality Governance across the Trust.3. To ensure that the Trust is compliant with and making incremental improvement against, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Standards, the NHS Improvement Single Oversight Framework, relevant Health and Safety Standards and the Civil Contingencies Act.4. To provide the Chief Nurse with the required assurances for the Board of Directors that the governance and risk management arrangements of the Trust are fit for purpose and managing risk across the organization.5. To be managerially responsible for all elements of Governance Services including patient safety, quality, health & safety, clinical effectiveness, complaints, Legal Services and research and development.6.
