Job Description:
We seek a talented and creative Email Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team and drive our email marketing efforts. As the Email Marketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and executing email campaigns to engage our customer base, increase brand awareness, and drive sales. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities could include but aren’t limited to:
• Develop and implement email marketing strategies to promote our products, drive customer acquisition, and increase retention.
• Create engaging and persuasive email content, including promotional campaigns, newsletters, product announcements, and special offers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of email marketing initiatives with overall marketing objectives and business goals.
• Manage the end-to-end process of email campaign execution, including campaign planning, scheduling, deployment, and post-campaign analysis.
• Segment email lists based on customer demographics, behaviour, and preferences to deliver targeted and personalized messaging.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email marketing to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
• Maintain compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices, including GDPR and CAN-SPAM requirements.
Qualifications and qualities which are preferred but not essential:
• Proven experience / passion in email marketing, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.
• Knowledge about email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or Constant Contact, Send In Blue.
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for technology, sustainability, and customer-centric marketing approaches.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge ideas and processes.
• Positive attitude, respectfulness, and willingness to collaborate in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work effectively and maintain tidiness in physical and digital environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly and escalate issues when necessary.
This role could be suited to a recent graduate or someone who may not have commercial experience but can prove the passion and interest they have for the topic.
