Summary
Duties will include a varied Orthoptic case-load plus specialist ocular-motility, paediatric ophthalmology and stroke clinics; Receiving secondary & tertiary referrals, primary & secondary screening visual screening in clinics, schools & special schools. Specific responsibilities of the post holder will be to be part of the clinic co-ordinators rotation, supervising the daily running of orthoptic clinics, undertaking clinical tuition of orthoptic undergraduate students & assisting the Head orthoptist with a range of operational duties.
